Whenever someone does us a favor, we tend to say involuntary and verbal thanks, followed by an instant reply of welcome from the other side, and we just move on. However, this is not enough and does not make any difference to thanks giver and receiver because it feels like a routine.

We all have listened about the power of gratitude multiple times in our lives in one way or another. Nevertheless, we cannot comprehend its significance until we practice it in our daily life. Writing a thank you note is an unpopular yet effective expression of gratitude that will be irresistible for the receiver as well.

Writing thank you note to someone does not require much of your resources, but it will strengthen your relationship. It is necessary to highlight that benefits of being grateful and expressing your gratitude to someone are not one-sided. Studies have shown that thanks givers feel improvement in emotional intelligence, self-esteem, energy levels, heart health, immune system, and capacity for mercy.

A handwritten gratitude note

Now, I will be sharing my experience and learning from sending thanks to the ones who are important in my friends’ circle. I think of two friends from which memorable past moments of kindness are associated. Although I had thanked them for their favour, they once did they both were always like ‘no,’ ‘mention not,’ ‘no worries,’ and so on. For them, it was just a momentary small act. Thus, I wrote a thank you note to them and mentioned how those small acts of kindness had influenced my life.

Replies I received were amazing

The reactions were overwhelming and beyond my expectations. I got to learn how much thanksgiving lag is there and how a little note can make someone feel happy and appreciated. Here are some of the replies I received.

I was never so happy after saying thanks.

Also, I want to share the pictures of dynamic thank you cards I sent.I tried to be specific and mentioned the event or reason, which made me inspired by them.

Hopefully, you liked my idea. If Yes! Then do tell me in the comments below and share your experience as well …
